A preacher addressing a group of young people once asked a boy in the front row,
"Son, what are you doing with your life?"
The teen answered, "I'm going to school."
"What will you do after school?"
"Go to university."
"What for?"
"To get a degree."
"What will that do?"
"Get me a good job."
"What for?"
"To earn lots of money."
"And then?"
"Have a family."
"And then?"
"Grow old I 'spose."
"And then?..."
The question dragged on in the silence of the room.
