About The Scripture - Hebrews 11:1

"What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see."

This Scripture sums up what faith really is. Faith is being certain - without a doubt that that which we hope for will come to pass. It is the evidence that what we cannot see is actually there. Christians have faith that God is real and true and that He created us and our Earth, even though we cannot directly see Him. In the same way, however, Evolutionists have faith that humans, with their extremely complex systems and subsystems, evolved by chance over millions of years.

I think that it takes more faith to believe in Evolution than it does for Creation. Darwin actually denied his theory to be true before he died. I find it very hard to believe that anything (in this case, single - celled organisms) when left alone will improve and better themselves. The law of entropy actually proves this.

Why I Chose it - Hebrews 11:1

I chose this Scripture because it defines very decisively exactly what faith is. Many Christians struggle with faith (including myself) and this Scripture explains what to aim for with faith.
